The parents of a U.S. Army veteran who served three tours of duty in the Middle East are suing the veterans’ hospital in Nashville, saying its staff’s negligence led to the death of their 26-year-old son. Aaron M. Merritt died in October 2014, just nine months after he was honorably discharged.
